Men’s Ratings Update 3/8/2023

Good Afternoon MSVBA!

Normally ratings changes take place 14 days after the player has been notified but because of having to reschedule last weekend’s tournament to 3/25, we did not want to affect any rosters for that with these changes. All ratings updates here will go into effect 3/26.

FOR NEW MSVBA PLAYERS – Your rating that you brought yourself in as for your first tournament IS your established rating unless you were notified otherwise by someone from the Rating’s Committee.

 

The Men’s Ratings Committee has the following list of players who are on our Watch List in consideration of their current established MSVBA rating or their old MSVBA rating. This list will be updated as ratings decisions are made after participation in future MSVBA tournaments. Please note that if you are on this list and you do not have a current established rating from a sanctioned MSVBA tournament run in 2022, the committee encourages you to reach out to any of our members to discuss what rating you should bring yourself in at for your first MSVBA tournament.
