2025-2026 Membership Registration (Opening Soon)

Welcome to the 2025-2026 indoor season!  Before playing in any MSVBA/Yankee tournament, you will need to complete the below registration.  It is the same process as last year.

  • Registration for the 2025-2026 season can only be submitted ONLINE.

    • We will NOT have paper registration forms available at tournaments; each player must register in advance.

  • Registration is done via SportsEngine now.

    • Yes, Sports Engine does has a mobile app — NO, do not attempt to register that way!
    • If you already have a Sports Engine account for some reason, great! Use that. Otherwise, you will be creating a new one.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • For those with existing accounts, follow the link above, login to your account and skip ahead to step 2.
  • For new accounts, follow the link above; then:

 

  1. Click CREATE ACCOUNT.  For your email, please try to use the same email address you used when you set up your MSVBA.org account (if you can remember!). After entering your basic info and creating a password, open the email they sent you and click the Activate My Account button. This brings you to your account in SportsEngine.
  2. A window will pop up with “NEW ENGLAND REGION VOLLEYBALL MEMBERSHIP” in the header. Follow along, screen by screen. Select yourself, select how you will participate, select duration (“Season”), and then confirm the RECOMMENDED membership. The next screen is about demographics and says “Required”, but for each question, you can select “I prefer not to say” if you wish.
  3. The next 4 screens are the USAV Code of Conduct, Release of Liability, Acknowledgement/Use Agreement, and Refund Waiver. Check the box to accept each, and click SUBMIT.
  4. Next, Review Membership. You’ll notice that $25 goes to NERVA and $25 goes to USAV. Click CONTINUE TO  PAYMENT.
  5. This opens your Shopping Cart. Click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT to enter credit card or bank account information. Click PAY $50.00 to submit your payment. The next screen is your confirmation! Notice your Membership ID beneath your name. You can access your membership card and ID later if needed, see step 7.
  6. Some of you (i.e. coaches) might have to complete additional requirements (like background checks or SafeSport) which you will be emailed about separately. But at this point, you have successfully paid for your membership and are officially registered.
  7. YOU ARE NOT DONE!  If you were not a member in 2022-2023, you will need to provide your membership card to MSVBA prior to your first tournament so it can be verified.
  8. To find your membership ID and to view/print your membership card:
    1. Navigate to the SportsEngine website, preferably on your mobile device. Login to your SportsEngine account. Tap Household from the navigation menu at the top left. (Some of you might find duplicate profiles for yourself. No worries; just click and drag one profile card on top of the other to merge them into a single profile.)
    2. Click VIEW PROFILE and find the box showing your New England Region Volleyball membership card, including your name and ID.
      1. FOR SOME, THIS NEXT PART MIGHT BE TRICKY. Mobile device model and size seem to affect how easily you’ll be able to access this next part. Click View Details and then SAVE MEMBERSHIP CARD if you want to print or save your actual card.
      2. Download/screenshot your membership card which includes your QR code. It should look like this:
      4. MSVBA needs a copy of your membership card on file so we can verify current membership and eligibility.
        1. In order to do this, please complete this Proof of Membership google form so we can update your contact information AND put your unique membership code on file. https://forms.gle/zRu7re1bYmLAnbNN8
        2. Once you have completed this form, your registration is complete. Thank you!

The goal is to eliminate day-of registration verification by having all steps completed prior to the tournament.

FAQs…

Q: Do I have to fill out the Proof of Membership form?

A: You only have to fill out the Proof of Membership form if you were NOT a member in 2022-2023.  If you were a member, we can scan your QR code and verify your renewed membership.

Q: How do I upgrade from a single event membership to a season membership?

A: Use the same original link provided above – the system will detect that your membership is eligible for an upgrade and will give you the option.  Please note, if you are only buying a single event membership, you will not receive an official player rating.  Those are only assigned with full memberships.

 

Q: The website is freezing, what do I do?

A: Some users have found that they are able to access the screens they were trying to get to by switching from mobile web browser to desktop web browser; please give it a try.
