1st MSVBA Meeting and Elections on Sept. 8th
Aug. 30, 2008
To start the season off, we are having our first MSVBA meeting of the season on Monday, September 8th at Gipper’s in Auburn, beginning at 6:30. Everyone is welcome to attend. The most important agenda item will be the elections for the officers of the MSVBA Board. This year, we will not be mailing ballots. Instead, voting will take place at the MSVBA meeting. We will offer the opportunity for full members to receive a ballot upon request, if they are unable to attend and if they intend to vote. We will allow one week after the meeting on the 8th to collect any absentee ballots. Please make the request from any msvba board member or email Zip@msvba.org or Mark@msvba.org. For the elections, we have brow-beaten the newly married Andy Winslow into running for the President’s seat, and conned the expectant one, Sara Thurston, into running for the Vice President spot. Mark has agreed to throw his name in for the Treasurer’s seat, and Beryle Martin is willing to keep her name on the ballot for the Secretary’s position. Come join us on September 8th and cast your vote!!
